Cognfity Update - December 2008

What is going on now?

Effort continues on the framework.

Mark Kimsal has added a lot of code to the system in the past few months. One of the new concepts is Visiglyphs. This code provides a way to dynamically generate icons based upon unique data patterns.

Mark also added code to start visualizing modules located within the framework. We are beginning to build tools in the admin area to manage custom modules as well.

A neat new tool allows you to quickly generate a backup copy of your site database and download it from the admin area. This will be a nice little time saver and a quick way to manage time based copies of your content.

I am re-writing a preventive maintenance application for my company. I am adding code and providing input for Mark to consider improvements geared towards user interaction with site forms.

Take a look at the latest Cognifty release. I think you will find something to interest you. We are on the lookout for individuals to help with everything from code to documentation.
