Welcome to My Site!

I am an I.T. Professional located in East Central Illinois, about an hour south of Chicago. I have been involved in this career field over a decade now. Prior to this, I held positions in the military, recruiting, marketing, defense contracting, and manufacturing. These experiences have been very useful in my current endeavors.

I work with a small group of go-getter's in a company that has grown international. It has been interesting to experience all of the changes a small company steps through on it's way to becoming a large company. Working in a small group also means you learn to be flexible. I may be working on a website today, an E.D.I. project tomorrow, and tipping network cables next week. I won't even get into the shared responsibility for answering Help Desk questions...

One of the big reasons for this site is my desire to promote the Cognifty Framework. This is a new project in which I am collaborating with Mark Kimsal of Metro Findings. Cognifty is an open source project we intend to develope and refine for the numerous projects we come across in our day to day work. We think a lot of other folks could benefit from this framework too! Go to the SourceForge project page or the Cognifty.com website to learn more, or maybe even join the development crew. You will find some links here that provide access to some of my VERY OLD sites. I keep them running for friends and for nostalgic reasons. I will probably get around to updating them one of these days, but, we all know how busy I.T. Guys can get!
