We are one of the many Posts of The American Legion scattered throughout Illinois. We are located in Kankakee, Illinois, a city situated about 60 miles south of Chicago.
Post 85 has a long history. Chartered over 80 years ago, our members have been a strong influence within the community since day one. Post 85 has sponsored and participated in numerous activities that focus on veterans, the community, and patriotism.
